HBRG Official Re-opening Day

Join us for a family-friendly fun day to celebrate our official reopening and see what's new.

Come along and be a part of the celebrations with two new exhibitions Wildflowering By Design (Wild/Flower Women IV) and Jam Factory ICON Angela Valamanesh: About Being Here as well as a suite of programs for everyone.

10:30am - Butchulla Seasonal Garden Tour with artist Joel Barney including Blackmans Cultural Indulgence bush food tasting platters.

11:15am - Mark making and drawing in response to nature - with Wildflowering by Design artists Edith Rewa and Marni Stuart.

12:15pm - Woven bracelet making with Wildflowering by Design artist Francis Blair and Drawing (analogue and digital) with Emma Thorp.

1pm - Wildflowering by Design floor talk with Aunty Karen Hall, Curator Dr Sue Davis and other artists.

All day 10am – 2pm - Collage making with Wildflowering by Design artist Marlies Oakley | Face painting | Food trucks
